Born and raised in Alexandria, Louisiana, Manny's love for the game propelled him to pursue a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Alcorn State University in Lorman, MS, setting the stage for a remarkable career ahead.
His impact in the Canadian Football League (CFL) as a standout player for the British Columbia Lions was undeniable, earning him recognition and respect across the league. This success caught the eye of the NFL, leading Manny to sign with the Minnesota Vikings in 2011, where he continued to showcase his exceptional skills on a new platform.
While Manny flourished in the NFL, his heart remained in the CFL, where he continued to shine. His career achievements are a testament to his talent, with impressive rankings such as 3rd all-time in receiving and 4th all-time in receptions. Notably, he made history as the 3rd player in franchise history to achieve over 1,000 receiving yards in three consecutive seasons, solidifying his status as one of the league's elite players.
